The Cherry roadmap continues to build momentum in the wake of our recent successful mainnet launch, and this week has been a big one for the project.

Staking Delivered:
With the mainnet up-and-running smoothly, the dev team turned their attention to a feature much-anticipated by the Cherry community: staking. Users can now validate, nominate, and earn staking rewards on their $CHER.

- Our partner Spherelink has also just announced the release of their Liquid Staking facility where users can stake $CHER and earn rewards directly on BNB Chain.
- To see the other cool ways the Cherry Chain will be put to use, you can always have a look at our roadmap here.
- Aside from staking, the Cherry Chain has been performing marvelously, with impressive transaction speeds and no reported incidents.
Community Check-in
- This weekend we are launching our Merchandise Design Competition, where the community can propose designs for the Cherry t-shirts, caps, pens etc that we will have on offer soon. Keep an eye on our social channels for further announcements.
- Within the next couple of days the details of July’s community meetup will be confirmed, however we can now share with you the location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We are looking forward to getting to meet the tremendous community we have in that part of Europe.
